Improving outcomes for service users by developing a confident and responsive workforce.

We aim to motivate, inspire and build confidence.

Jo Bush and Jools Hesketh established the Training Exchange in 1997. Since then the organisation has continued to grow and establish its reputation as a high quality provider of training and learning opportunities. All our staff and trainers are experienced and qualified professionals.

The company has grown from roots within the fields of community, youth, health and social work. The directors' and trainers' experience within these fields has driven us to recognise and remove barriers to learning. Our response is to design courses that incorporate different learning styles, value diversity and encourage participation.

The Training Exchange now benefits from the services of 26 associate trainers who deliver a wide range of training and professional development courses both in-house and on our open-access training programmes.

We are involved in national developments within the field, our courses are delivered by experienced practitioners and develop according to current evidence and standards of good practice.

The Training Exchange has a reputation for delivering high quality training, which has a sustainable impact on individuals and organisations. In the last year more than 2500 people have attended courses run by The Training Exchange.

Over the past fifteen years we have worked with a wide range of national, regional and local authorities, community safety partnerships, drug action teams, further and higher education providers, drug service providers, criminal justice services, heatlth & education providers, community services, youth projects and housing providers.

A full list of the organisations can be found here.
