- To provide non-statutory workers with a clear framework for assessing and treating people with dual diagnosis
|
|
|
- To gain a clear understanding of a treatment framework which encompasses the client’s full range of needs
- To identify the specific issues affecting the treatment of dual diagnosis clients
- To practice evidenced based approaches to effective treatment
- To work within the Department of Health recommended guidelines for dual diagnosis treatment (Osher & Kofoed 1989)
