Course Aims: 

  • To develop participant’s understanding of workplace bullying
  • To learn effective strategies for reducing and dealing with bullying
   
Course Objectives:

By the end of the course participants will have had opportunities to:

  • Define bullying (as distinct from harassment) and explore relevant law
  • Understand the various forms that bullying can take and the signs that it is happening
  • Understand the impact of bullying on individuals and teams
  • Understand why traditional, formal interventions rarely work
  • Develop strategies for reducing bullying
  • Learn two effective interventions for dealing with bullying
