Aim of training:

To develop participants’ presentation and public speaking skills.
   
Objectives:

By the end of the session participants will have had opportunities to:

  • Identify the characteristics of an effective talk or presentation.
  • Reflect on their experience as both speakers and ‘consumers’
  • Explore and practise some performance skills
  • Consider the structure of an effective presentation or talk
  • Plan and practise the opening of a presentation or talk.
